A second pair of eyes on every price tag
The dealrim Deal Finder is a free extension for Chrome and Firefox. When you’re on a product page at a supported store and dealrim has the same item cheaper, a small banner shows you the lower price and links straight to the deal. Dismiss it with one click — it never nags.
Version 1.0.0 · Chrome and Firefox · free, no account needed
Not on the Chrome Web Store yet — the download above is the way to install it today.
How it works
- Install it in about a minute with the steps below — no account, no sign-in.
- Shop normally on any of the supported stores.
- Get the nudge only when dealrim is actually cheaper: a dismissible banner with the lower price and a link to the deal page.
Works on these stores
- Amazon amazon.com
- Walmart walmart.com
- Target target.com
- Best Buy bestbuy.com
- eBay ebay.com
What it does
- Compares the product on the page against dealrim’s deal feed, on your device
- Toolbar popup with the day’s freshest deals plus dealrim search
- Refreshes its deal list every 6 hours
What it doesn’t do
- No account, no sign-in, no tracking — page titles and URLs never leave your device
- Only appears when dealrim is actually cheaper; never shows a worse price
- Doesn’t apply coupons or watch prices over time

Frequently asked questions
Is the extension free?
Yes — free, with no account, no sign-in, and no trial period. Download the .zip below and install it in about a minute.
Does it track the pages I visit?
No. Price matching happens entirely on your device: the page title and URL never leave it. The only network request the extension makes is downloading dealrim’s public deals feed every six hours so its price list stays fresh.
Which stores does it work on?
Product pages on Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and eBay. When dealrim has the same product cheaper, a small dismissible banner shows the lower price with a link straight to the deal.
Why does Chrome need Developer mode for the install?
The extension isn’t on the Chrome Web Store yet, and Chrome only loads unpacked extensions with Developer mode on. Flip the toggle at chrome://extensions, click “Load unpacked,” and select the unzipped folder.
